i know. i need to do a better test, this shot is somewhat motion blurred (1/20th) but i like the light that such a radical iso captures! the light on the tree and the sky. that wasn't really visible to the eye, it was nearly completely dark out. this shot looks like it was shot with a 3-5 second shutter.

I believe this deserves the proverbial, omg. 8000. I had to explain to Heidi that the D50 only goes to 1600 and would be a puddle of mushy goo.
