Thanks. I'm having good results pulling clouds out of dark skies by shooting at very high iso and dragging the shutter. The clouds in these last two images weren't really visible to the eye, but the D700 pulled them out. It's an effect I like.
Hey Joanna, thanks for your comment. Dragging the shutter simply means using a slower shutter than you normally would. Here I used a 1/5 sec, which, as you obviously know from your own shooting, is rather slow for handheld shooting.
